The thigh bandage orthosis supports and prevents injuries to the hamstring and quadriceps muscles.

The groin/thigh brace protects the leg from injury. Pulling the muscle is very painful.
Our thigh orthosis is equipped with orthopedic stays and polyamide fasteners. They are elastic, easy to attach, with circumferential VELCRO bands. The Trial Compressive System allows to adjust the level of compression in different areas of the thigh according to the problem and needs.

Our thigh/groin brace is made of PowerFit.

PowerFit is a thin laminate consisting of three layers, two of which are external spandex and one internal. The purpose of the latter is to improve compression and absorb shocks in the joints and muscles during physical activity. The external spandex layers are very resistant to damage and dirt. Orthoses made of this material perfectly support the body. Due to its high quality, it can be used even in extreme conditions. PowerFit is easy to maintain and can be washed by hand, so you can use orthoses made of this material during physical exercises and daily training. Waterproof material.

The anatomical shape of the orthosis allows it to be used on both the left and right legs.

The thigh has three groups of muscles: the hamstrings in the back of the thigh, the quadriceps muscles on the front, and the adductors on the inside. The quadriceps and hamstrings work together to straighten (extend) and bend (flex) the leg. The adductors coordinate the two parts.
The hamstrings and quadriceps are particularly prone to contractures because they cross the hip and knee joints. They are also used during activities requiring speed, such as stadium events (running, long jump), football, basketball.
In the Premier League, specialists have observed that the average recovery time for players after a semitendinosus and semimembranosus injury is 23 weeks. For sprinters it is 16 weeks. If poorly treated, injuries cause relapses in 30% of cases.
Thigh tissue injuries account for between 10 and 55% of injuries in sports. We know of the following tissue injuries: enthesopathy, contusion, contracture, tension or rupture.
These injuries can be the result of:

  • contact bruises, where tissues, blood vessels and bones are damaged,

  • draw,

  • concentric contractions,

  • eccentric contraction,

  • isometric contraction,

  • sudden stop of movement,

  • passive extension

The typical hamstring injury during sprinting occurs when the muscles switch from an eccentric contraction to a concentric contraction (30° knee flexion). According to studies, 69-80% of hamstring injuries are related to the biceps femoris
