Swivel unit for wheelchair armrest attachment

The modular armrests are available in three sizes and can be used in combination with the modular hand supports. The modular system allows for flexibility in order to meet the individual needs of different patients. In combination with the appropriate hand support, the modular armrest provides functional support for patients with weakness or paralysis of the upper extremities. Each combination of forearm support and hand support can be installed directly on the wheelchair armrests and on the swivel units of the armrests. Support straps can be used if necessary. We supply all the necessary hardware for mounting the modular armrest on the wheelchair armrest. If desired, the channel armrest can also be used without the hand support for special seating systems. The channel forearm support can thus be used in combination with hand control units, computer joysticks, etc. This allows for optimal positioning and guidance of the arm.

The forearm angle adjustment unit allows adjustments of 0°, 12.5° and 25°. Two horizontal adjustment functions are available:a) Continuous adjustment; the locking pin is lifted and rotated 180°.b) In increments of approximately 15°; the locking pin must be in the locked position.This swivel unit is compatible with all modular channel armrests. The swivel unit can be mounted on the left or right side of the wheelchair. The swivel unit can be mounted on the left or right side of the wheelchair. With a few minor adjustments, it can be installed on the left side: Using the swivel unit increases the height of the armrest by approximately 3 cm. For the Avantgarde Desk side panel, a swivel unit for a 19 mm diameter tube is required. For the Start series, a 20 mm diameter tube is required.

Choose the size according to the diameter of the tube on which the support will be fixed.
