The lateral articulating hip brace supports the joint against unwanted movements such as excessive adduction, flexion or rotation of the hip, which can cause the endoprosthesis to loosen and displace.

Stent is often the result of a degenerative disease that involves the destruction of articular cartilage, the joint capsule, and other soft tissues. The head of the femur and the surface of the acetabulum have bone spurs, called osteophytes. Osteophytes usually limit joint movement and usually cause pain.
The hip joint is a ball and socket joint in which the head of the femur sits inside the acetabulum. Degeneration of the joint can be caused by poor construction (hip dysplasia), growth disorders, or injuries. It can also be caused by metabolic disorders such as osteoporosis or being overweight.

Our hip orthosis with lateral splint is a crucial part of the rehabilitation process after joint replacement.

The lateral splint supports the joint against unwanted movements such as excessive adduction, flexion or rotation of the hip, which can cause the endoprosthesis to loosen and move. It is equipped with a range of motion adjustment system, which is useful after hip surgery.

Our hip orthosis is used after surgery, which limits the risk of damage to the endoprosthesis.
