Mechanical principle: This device allows active recoptation of the glenohumeral joint. The elastic strap exerts vertical traction on the humerus by applying the traction force to the elbow and the homolateral shoulder.
Not suitable for a fractured arm or forearm.
The objective of the dynamic sling is to prevent or completely reduce glenohumeral subluxation, a source of shoulder pain and algodystrophy, while allowing daily independent placement by patients, without changing the initial setting.
