The pediatric figure 8 clavicle brace is a professional medical device. It immobilizes the clavicle and provides a high level of stabilization. The figure 8 shape wraps around both shoulders, keeping the shoulders back and stabilizing the clavicle.

The clavicle connects the sternum and the shoulder blade. It is part of the shoulder girdle. A fractured clavicle is a common injury among many athletes. Fractures of the clavicle are often associated with contact sports such as American football, rugby, hockey, or wrestling. It is also possible to bump or fall on the shoulder. A fractured clavicle is painful and the shoulder is visibly swollen. Mobility of the upper limb is limited.

Most injuries require 4-6 weeks of recovery. Unfortunately, one of the most common complications is shortening of the collarbone. To avoid this, it is highly recommended to use a professional collarbone brace. The brace perfectly immobilizes the collarbone and protects it from further injuries.

ActivDistance™ is a 3-layer lamination, composed of comfort foam and 2 layers of non-elastic polyamide. ActivDistance™ is not elastic which improves stabilization. The foam inside makes our fabric very soft and comfortable. ActivDistance™ is self-gripping on both sides, which allows our devices to be perfectly adjusted.

Optimal wide straps ensure excellent stabilization of the clavicle and high comfort of use. Our clavicle brace does not exert any pressure on the child's armpits.
